International Orientation

We are currently in England for our company's international orientation. We have co-workers from Taiwan, Nigeria, Lebanon, Scotland, Ireland, England, and North America. It's quite exciting to know we will be working with an international team in our work, especially for our son. I look forward to him learning and navigating between a limitless number of cultures.

We flew from Tulsa to Atlanta on our first leg and had to run through two concourses to make it to our flight which had already boarded. We made it on...but our luggage did not. So we were without our luggage three days. Thankfully it arrived last night. Let's just hope it doesn't get lost on the way home!

We've met several folks who will be in the same country we are headed to. This is a different stage of meeting people than we've really ever had. Normally, we are meeting people that will not be in our future home so we have gotten used to goodbye. However, I find myself saying 'hello' and 'see you soon' to folks who will spend holidays and vacations (oh-and work) with!

Oh, and the chaos is getting better. It has not yet swallowed me!
